Europcar Launches Franchises in Brazil
Partnering with Los Cipreses, Europcar has launched in Brazil and opened its first franchise locations in the cities of Curitiba, Florianopolis and Porto Alegre, says the company.
Travel company Los Cipreses runs Buquebus, a passenger and vehicle career between Argentina and Uruguay, and the BQB airline with operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.
Within the next year, Europcar plans to open locations in Brazil’s top 10 cities, says the company.
“Europcar is proud to partner with Los Cipreses to develop our presence in Brazil,” said Marcus Bernhardt, Europcar Group’s chief commercial officer. “… This move allows us to service our direct customers, airline and hotel partners and leisure customer base with an ever-increasing network. For Europcar, it is truly a great opportunity to participate in this very large and dynamic market where we already serve a significant number of Brazilian customers outside of Brazil.”
